Why duplex 2205 (and not 304 or 316)?
Most glass spigots on the market are made from 304 or 316 stainless. We use certified duplex 2205 (Cr 22.7%, Mo 3.18%) — a high-performance alloy specified for coastal, pool and marine environments. It delivers markedly higher resistance to pitting and salt/chlorine corrosion than 304 or 316, and roughly twice the yield strength (623 MPa) — so it holds up for years outdoors where ordinary 304 spigots stain and rust.

- Salt spray: 200 hours of neutral salt spray (ISO 9227) with no significant corrosion.
- Load: tested to a 750 N/m uniformly distributed load — no fracture, deflection within code-allowable limits.
- Mechanical: 623 MPa yield strength, 825 MPa tensile strength.
Side-mounted design
This spigot fastens to the side / fascia of a deck, stair stringer or structure and holds the glass panel vertically with two set screws — a clean, space-saving alternative to base-mounted posts. Its long profile gives extra grip and a bolder architectural line. Accepts 10–14 mm tempered or laminated glass. Available in matte black and brushed satin, each finish passes an ASTM 5B cross-cut adhesion test for a durable, clean look on decks, balconies, stairs, pool fences and terraces.
