Glass clamps and connectors are the joints of a frameless glass installation: they hold panels to each other, to walls, and keep long runs rigid. The catalogue names — "180° H wide style", "90° glass-to-wall slim" — sound technical, but the logic is simple. There are really just three questions: what are you joining, at what angle, and how visible do you want the hardware to be?
Glass-to-glass, 180°: the "H" connector
An H connector joins two panels in a straight line — picture the letter H, with each glass panel slotting into one side. Use them to stiffen long straight runs of railing or pool fence, align panel edges perfectly, and stop individual panels from flexing independently. They come in wide style (more contact surface, more imposing look) and slim style (more discreet).
Glass-to-glass, 90°: the corner connector
Where a run turns a right angle — the corner of a pool fence, a shower enclosure, a balcony return — a 90° corner connector joins the two panels edge-to-edge. Again, thin style for minimal visual presence, wide style for a more substantial look and grip.
Glass-to-wall, 90°: the wall connector
When a panel meets the house, a post or a column, a glass-to-wall connector anchors it: one side bolts to the wall, the other clamps the glass. This is how you tie a deck railing back to the building or finish a shower screen against tile. Wide and slim styles work exactly as above.
The odd one out: adjustable brackets
Roofs slope, stairs rake, and yards aren't square. When two panels meet at an angle that isn't 180° or 90°, an adjustable glass-to-glass bracket covers the in-between angles and compensates for surface irregularities.

- Straight run, glass to glass → 180° H connector
- Right-angle corner, glass to glass → 90° corner connector
- Panel meets a wall or post → 90° glass-to-wall connector
